Former Audioslave & Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell made a highly anticipated stop at M3 headquarters for an intimate interview and live performance of new songs PLUS classic Soundgarden & Temple Of The Dog hits in an exclusive edition of MuchMoreMusic Live on Friday, April 13.
The rock icon sat down with host Traci Melchor and answered audience questions as well as those via phone, e-mail and Speakers Corner.
CHRIS CORNELL FAST FACTS:
- Before going it alone, Chris Cornell fronted grunge heavyweights Soundgarden (1984-1997), Temple Of The Dog (1990-1992) and Audioslave (2001-2007).
- Chris started his musical career as a drummer and then became a singer and guitarist.
- Chris has a non-speaking cameo in the 1992 Cameron Crowe film, Singles.
- Chris' solo album Carry On will be released on June 5, 2007. "No Such Thing" will be the first single from the album. It will feature the previously released "You Know My Name", the theme song for Casino Royale, as well as a cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean".
